Test of Honour: Vassal Clan Samurai (GFN-TOH-45)

This set contains:

• 3 Vassal Samurai
• 2 Recruitment cards
• 2 Honour cards
• 2 Dishonour cards
• 1 Multibase

As the clans of Japan warred with each other, smaller, defeated clans would be forced to swear loyalty to the conquering daimyo. Others would maintain loyalty because of family ties, marriage or tradition. Such vassal clans provided a host of low ranking samurai - skilled warriors, bound to fight for their new lord.

Vassal Samurai are elite followers who can earn Honour and Dishonour cards in the same way as Characters.

The set also contains 2 new Honour cards and 2 new Dishonour cards that add to those in the core set. Inspired and Path of the Samurai give boosts for warriors with the Samurai keyword. Higher Standards punishes those who use dishonour despite having a high Honour stat, while Death or Glory lets a warrior atone for their actions with a risky counter attack!

Note that if your collection includes more samurai figures than the 3 character limit allows for, why not field those as vassals too?
